What is screen printing? |
| |
The process of printing directly
onto surface is called ‘Screen-printing’. With screen-printing,
you can choose four-color process or individual PMS (Pantone
Matching System) colors. Your color design can be placed directly
onto the surface. |

What application/file format should be
used? |
| |
We accept Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop,
Corel Draw, or EPS files. Our preferred format is Corel Draw
and we provide our templates in both Corel Draw and Photoshop
format. Try to avoid compressed formats (.JPEG/.GIF/Etc.) when
creating artwork. |

What About Resolution? |
| |
All bitmap images should be minimum 300 DPI
at the size it will be printed. If highest quality is to be
achieved, the resolution should be increased as per requirement
to 600 DPI or higher. |

What color space/mode should I use? |
| |
Always create your artwork in CMYK color space.
This avoids color shifts that occur in the transformation of
modes from RGB to CMYK. Also be sure to specify all Pantone
Matching System colors with a consistent naming convention. |

How well will the job match what I see
on my monitor? |
| |
Though the techniques advances today in color
calibration and color management technology, RGB diffusion color
space (your monitor) and CMYK reflective (printed piece) corresponding
item are totally different. Referencing the recognized industry
standard Pantone Matching System, computer will show the colour
very close to the printed colour, but there is no way to use
a monitor to truly represent the final product. We would suggest
taking a match print representing what you will get. Note that
it is not possible to have a Match Print on the disc face artwork. |
